Tent Sizing

Many clients ask us: “What size of tent should I rent?”. If you are asking yourself the same question, then you came to the right place. In this blog post, we will talk about the square footage required for your event. This is based on what you require underneath your tent. When determining what size of tent you will require, you will need to decide what items you want in the tent. These items might include a dance floor, catering space, a bar, etc.

Tent Size Calculation:

Use the table below to calculate the amount of square footage required for your event. The left column indiciates the different types of items you may require underneath your tent. Some of the items may not be applicable to you. In this case, just put a “0” in the right column for that item. Input the required numbers in the middle column to get the total square feet per item that you do require underneath your tent.

Tally up the total square feet per item to get the total square footage you require. Then, use the table below to find a tent that has the minimum square feet you require. We recommend you always go a tad larger in tent size if spacing on the property is not an issue. It will just provide more space for your guest to move around more comfortably in the tent.
